Bill Paxton's Rifle

The rifle used in the movie by Bill Paxton's character "God" is this beauty. This is a Barrett M82A1M. This is a .50 BMG. It's semi-automatic and has 10 round magazines.The barrel is 29" long and the overall length of the rifle is 57" The rifle weighs 32 lbs. without accesories. The new designation for this rifle is the M107. This is on my top five list of "guns to own if I ever win the lottery". Unfortunately, the .50 cal. is already banned in California and there are some yahoo's out there trying to ban it in all 50 states. Mostly they are ignorant people who have no good reason to do so but think they do because they are ignorant. Jesse James of bike building fame owns a .50 caliber and bought it before the ban in California. On a recent episode of "Monster Garage" he said "They can have my gun when they pry it from my cold dead fingers". I agree!
