I have heard about this comic for some time and finally got my hands on a copy of vol 1 of the archives edition. The stories are a little dated but the underlining message of a hero working to do the right thing, to insure our right as American's to be free are still important. I am glad I took the time to read the stories even though after reading a few I had to take a break. I am sure when it was presented in paper format that many readers could not wait for the next issue to see what happened next in the comic. Eisner did a great job telling a story in just a few pages at a time. Overall the stories are fun to read and I think that most people will find them entertaining. The only real issue I have is that they are dated and at times this does deminish the story some.
