I have several mixed feeling about this movie. First off I think the story and material are great. I think it shows quickly how fast racial tensions can escalate. It also shows how they can begin and the results of them in the end. My problem with the movie is they made a story that was great but didn't spend much time on the details. Like for instance his gun in the opening gun fight seems to have an endless amount of bullets and the fact that he was able to run into and disturb a murder scene. One thing that I really liked was the use of black and white as a way to present flashbacks. This was an excellent way to make it clear when the story was going back to a flashback and when the movie was in present time. I just couldn't get over several of the details that seemed to be forgotten or just plain out the director didn't care about. I enjoyed the movie otherwise and think it is worth a watch.
