Angel Eyes

Synopsis: One of Chicago's best cops is in the worst of situations. Officer Sharon Pogue is looking point blank into the barrel of a scumball's handgun. Then it happens. A mysterious sranger appears out of the shadows and saves her life. Is the rescue blind luck? Fate? When Sharon discovers the answer, she'll also discover something else, it's not the first time she and the mystery man have met.

I liked this movie even though I probably shouldn't. I liked the comedy that was in the movie. Since my idea of what is funny comes under fire frequently on this site, here is something I do like. Don't get me wrong, this is not a comedy by any means but does have several moments in it that I found quite funny. The writing and directing of this movie are excellent. One scene we see Lopez sitting and you know she wants to call Catch. The camera pans down you see the phone which sells the idea that she wants to call Catch. At that moment the there is a knock on the door and it is catch. This was very creative and I liked it very much. This is a great movie and is something you can feel good watching with your family.
