This is my favorite of the Austin Powers movies. I think adding fat bastard and mini me to the movie helped make this movie way better than the first one. Also Heather Graham was excellent as the Austin girl. I generally don't like time travel in movies but in this one it worked well. If you liked the first one you will like this one a whole lot more. I liked the scene in the tent, that was pretty funny. I think the story and comedy in this film was better written. If you liked the first one then you will love this one. This is a good film to pop in anytime, especially if you don't want to have to think to much. I think this film is good enough to justify buying.

This movie is way way better than the first! The writing was much better, the characters and their relationships with each other was deftly handled, and it had me laughing all the way through. I found the strained relations between Dr. Evil, his son, and Mini-me to be the most interesting. That being said, I’m still wouldn’t rush out and buy this movie. Why? Because it’s not one of those movies I could watch again and again. The jokes were really funny the first time but they get old fast. I would definitely recommend watching this one but buying it isn’t high on my list.
