Every review and every person I have talked to about this movie has stated that it is just awful. I remember watching it back when it came out and was disapointed. Having watched it again years later I can't say that my opinion has changed much. This movie is chalk full of poor acting. Though I don't know that I would call the movie awful, I would not go out of my way to watch it again. At its time it was just another poorly done comic book based movie in a line of poorly done comic book based movies. I think the outlook for the future is done well but some of the situations seem very unrealistic. Come on a fat gang lord that gets hauled around in a front loader. I like the whole idea that a business owner has chosen to be neutral and only cares for themselves. If you have not seen this movie I would not go out of my way to see it. It might appeal to those that like sci-fi that takes gritty looks at the future.
