Everyone that knows me knows that I am not the biggest Tom Hanks fan. Well of course that was until this movie came out. To me everything he has done was to prepare him for the role of Robert Langdon. All the awards, all the praise, all of it for the sole purpose of become Robert Langdon. From there Ron Howard does a great job capturing the source material and brings to life the story. This movie has a little of it all, mystery, action, and even a little drama. This movie is over 2 hours long but you wouldn't know that, as it keeps moving and keeps being entertaining. Not only is Tom Hanks at his best but you also have a great performance from Ian McKellen who once again captures the feel of his character like no other. For those of you that have ignored this film because of religious feelings, then you should really question yourself. If you would stop and look outside you small frame you would see that this movie in no way does not support God and if anything actually sets about to convince you that Jesus was a real person. Don't judge this without seeing it especially when many of the judgments were made by people who had not seen the movie themselves. Overall I think this is a great movie that has kept me entertained on more than one occasion. Great job by all that were involved.
