With all the talent involved in this film I had pretty high expectations. The film follows a guy who is lucky in love with a top TV star Sarah Marshall. This is all well and good until Sarah decides to end the relationship. He then does what any man would do and take a trip to Hawaii. This would have been a great plan except for the fact that Sarah also decides to do the same thing with here new boyfriend. This is were the comedy is suppose to begin. If you caught that you might have gotten the idea that I just didn't find the movie all that funny. Actually at times I found it pretty slow and with it being slow I had a hard time keeping my interest in the movie. It pretty much follows the tried and true formula and is very predictable. There were several scenes that were so predictable that I actually rolled my eyes. Overall I just could not get around the slow pacing and the dreary feel that the film had.
