Half Moon Street

Synopsis: Offbeat drama that focuses on the relationship between British diplomat Lord Bulbeck (Michael Caine) and Dr. Lauren Slaughter (Sigourney Weaver), and American political scholar by day and prostitute by night. the two meet at a dinner party, and he soon becomes one of her regular evening clients. But complicatoins develop for the independent Dr. Slaughter when Lord Bulbeck starts falling in love with her.

This film is not something I would normally watch, it is something you would expect to find on late night tv. The story is fairly good but always seems to lack something. For one I am not sure on Weaver playing a call girl. Maybe not the best choice for that role. This film did come out in 1986 so maybe I would have thought different back then. I usually like movies set in England but this one just didn't convince me that it took place there. Though this is not a bad movie I think it would be best to not waste your time on it.
