Of Note: The rope bridge used during the final fight scene was actually suspended up a couple of hundred feet across a gorge on location in Sri Lanka. Acrophobic Steven Spielberg would never walk over it, and had to drive a mile and a half to reach the other side. Harrison Ford on the other hand had no such fear, and would run across it at full speed.

If you watch the original 3 movies in order this one just does not fit into the feel of the other two. This one is a lot darker than the other ones. Granted this is still a great movie. The story finds Jones helping a village rescue there children who have been taken and forced into slave labor. This does lead him on several adventures and even a few misadventures. During this time he does run head on into an occult leader. One thing I do really like about this movie is the soundtrack. It fits the dark feel very well. With that once again Harrison Ford is excellent as Indiana Jones. Short Round is a great addition to the film and really does lighten the mood some. Overall this is still a great movie just not as good as the first and third one.
