I have never really been a big Iron Man fan but I thought I would give this a shot because I figured with it being under the Marvel Animated Features lable it should be pretty good. I was pretty disapointed. I suppose if I was 9 years old I would have thought this was the best thing in the world. Unfortunatly I am not 9 years old and this film feel short. The action was pretty mild, the ending was chessey and the animation was not all that good. On top of that the story was not all that powerful. I am not even sure if the hard core Iron Man fans are going to like this but if you are not a fan don't plan on liking this dvd.

I liked this DVD. Under no circumstances would I recommend ever watching it in a theatre but on direct to DVD I think it’s good. I have the same gripes as JJ about the movie but they just didn’t bother me as much. I thought the story was good especially if you looked into the deeper undertones. To me this movie was more of something you would see in a made for TV animated movie. I thought the characters were well done and their back stories were very intriguing. I don’t like when the CG animation is blended with more traditional animation in the movie. They don’t go together well and it gives it a cheesy, Pokemon type of feel. Other than that I would watch this movie again but I wouldn’t buy it. Maybe find a friend that has it and borrow it from them.
