First thing I am going to say is that Angelina Jolie is Lara Croft. Her look, her
movements, and her demeanor are all dead on. The story at first annoyed me. I guess I am
tired of the bad guy takes something, good guy has to try to get it back. Then as the plot
unfolds I warmed very quickly to the story. I can understand if you are leery of watching
this film, as most video game based movies are not very good. This one does capture the
spirit of the game and the character very well. I would recommend watching this film and
for fans of Lara Croft or even just action films I would recommend that you purchase this movie.

I agree with Jason, Angelina Jolie IS Lara Croft. I don't think they could have cast anyone better to play the part. Well, if you've read a few of my reviews you know of my penchant for chicks kicking ass so it shouldn't be any suprise to you that I like this movie. The plot was very good in my opinion, though somewhat predictable. I do have a sensitive side (don't tell anyone) and Lara's feeling for her father seem very real and heart felt. Above all esle though, this movie is action-adventure and does credit to the genre of video game to movies. This is one of the better one. Worth owning and watching more than once.
