This movie follows the lives of three girls. The first one is nicknamed mouse. Her mother passed away several years earlier and her new step mom wants her out of the way and sends her to an all girls boarding school. Once she gets there she is introduced to her roommates. Her roommates quickly take her in and start to show her around. But something is not right as the roommates have a secret that they don't go out of there way to keep. At about this point in the movie it starts to take a downward spiral. The secret is out and everyone handles it different. For me about the time the downward spiral starts is the time that the movie loses its interest. You can see by how everyone is handling things that it just is heading in a bad direction. The movie does a good job presenting the three girls point of view and really makes it easy to understand why they are reacting and acting the way they are. You can tell that the different lifestyles that they had do have an influence on how they react to things. Mostly though once the movie is over you sit there felling unfulfilled and that really is a downer. Overall I just can't get over the downward spiral that the movie takes and for me it just gets to dreary.
