Here are my thoughts on this movie. A bunch of corporate whatever you want to call them sat around a table talking about what they could make a sequel to. After several minutes someone shouted "how about Poison Ivy". We can get the hottest actress out there, set it in L.A. and base it around a psycho teacher. But wait it gets better, lets have the girl be from the Midwest and don't forget to throw in a guy who plays the violin. Then they wrote a script and after several more meetings they cut anything that was a story out of the script, added more nudity, and for some reason thought that having a guy playing the violin had to be left into the movie even though he didn't do anything. I guess I have a problem with this film on several levels. The biggest is that it did not flow, conversations take place that make no sense. Another problem is that this was filmed like is was going to be played on cinemax. You know the type I am talking about, corny music comes on and you just know a sex scene is going to follow. Also during this movie the main actress finds herself in situations that upset those around her. During all of these moments if she would have just told the truth about what was going on they would have supported her. I guess it didn't dawn on a naive Midwestern girl to tell the truth. Basically what I am trying to tell you is the only reason to watch this movie is for the nudity, that is it.
