Lets get my beef with this movie out of the way right of the way. They messed with the origins. Why oh why mess with the origins. Now that I am done with that, I did like the movie. It captured the feel of The Punisher very well. John Travolta does play a bad guy very well. He has that swagger about him that is very convincing. Thomas Jane who plays The Punisher does an excellent job. The apartment building and the roomies that he had, brought a little comic relief to the movie. It also did a good job showing that Frank Castle still was human enough to help them when they needed help. After being pissed off about the origins, I settled in and enjoyed this movie. It has good action and believable characters. I would recommend that you add this to your collection.

Definitely a must see movie. I’m not a big comic book reader so the fact that the origins were not the same never occurred to me. I just love a good vendetta movie and this is one plays the part for sure. I think that the part of Frank Castle was cast very well and I especially liked the neighbors in the apartment building. The way the Punisher played Travolta’s character and the crime syndicate was excellent. Creating distrust and confusion before making his final blow. I believe this movie is a good buy as I’m pretty sure you will watch it more than once.
