Of Note: The rifle shown to Berenger in the cache of "antiques" and called a "Mauser seven-nine-two" was most certainly not a Mauser. By the looks of it and the cartridge compartment in front of the trigger guard, it appears to be a Moisin-Nagant seven-six-two. Though also of WW II origin, there is a vast difference as one was used by German snipers and the other was used by Russians. I notice later in the film, he is even using a "sporterized version" which has the lowered bolt lever rather than the straight stock version.

What, a sequal that was better than the first. What a rare treat. I was expecting a boring movie like the first one but was suprised to see that this was very good. It had more action and took place in a better environment that the first one. This movie only was 90 minutes long and the time flew by. As much as I enjoyed this movie I don't think I would watch it more than once. The ending seemed kind of weak without much of a suprise to the outcome besides if the main charcter dies how would they have made a 3rd movie. Overall it is a good action film and should not be judged by the first movie in the trilogy.

Of course I like this movie! Tom Berenger returns again as Beckett who, while guiding some kind of weird gili suited hunting excursions after retiring form the corp., is courted once again by the Military. There is plenty of action but as JJ said the movie goes pretty quickly. I'm still on the edge as to whether or not I like this movie better or worse than the first one so, in any case, I recommend this as a good watch; and a good buy if you like this type of movie.
