I think 20 years down the road this film will be looked back up a lot like how we look back upon Soylent Green. The
story follows an officer that is investigating a crime were people are being killed through there surrogates. What that
means is almost everyone has a robot that represents them and does all the work while they sit in a booth and control it.
People don't leave there homes, don't interact unless through there robots, etc.. The crime rate has plummeted until a
weapon was built that can kill the actual person behind the robot. Bruce Willis plays the main character and as always he
does a great job in the role of a tough neck officer that is not afraid to mix it up a bit. The story itself seems to
take forever to get going. I understand that you need the slow start to setup this future world and how we got to that
point. It just seemed like it could have been done a little better and moved on a little faster. Once the main part of
the story gets going the movie becomes fairly fun to watch. Once again a big part of this is because of the work the
Bruce Willis does. The special effects at times seemed like something you would have seen in the early 1990's but I kind
of liked that. Overall I enjoyed the film once we got over the slow start and really go into the film.
