I really want to like this movie. It just is hard to get over a few of lame moments, poor costumes, and not all that great of acting. The story is just what you would expect from a turtles movie. Them against shredder, individually they get there butt kicked, but together they find a way to win. I was not all that big of a fan of the look of the turtles even for when the film was made. It still should have looked better than a rubber suit. Even being in a rubber suit the acting was lacking, not only the turtles but those around them. Having said that it did have a very 80's feel to it. Granted it was made in 1990 so only missed the 80's by one year, I would still expect a little more. The story itself was pretty good. I enjoyed that part of it. To a degree I did enjoy the kooky 80's feel that the film had. Overall it just had way to many lame moments that distracted from what could have been a pretty good movie.
