Sure this is an older film. I wanted to review it after seeing several negative reviews that said it didn't hold up. Sure it does not have fancy graphics or amazing sets. It does have some really awesome shots and segments. One of the shots must take place from a helicopter and I think it just is a great segment. There are several that for the time and the equipment used they really got the best shot possible. The acting is top of the line. Jane Fonda, Michael Douglas, and Jack Lemmon really deliver. The story follows a reporter who experience an event while doing a piece at a nuclear power plant. The official response is that it is a common occurrence and that there never was any danger. What the plant didn't know was that the reporters camera man filmed the whole event. The reporter is played by Jane Fonda and the camera man is played by Michael Douglas. The story may be a little dated but the treat from nuclear power is still a very real problem. Overall I enjoyed the film and even though it is many years old it still was effective in drawing me in emotionally. It does it with good acting and a great job by the director telling the story.
