I will start of by saying my dislike for this movie has nothing to do with the acting. Eric Bana does a great job as the lead. I will be honest I am not a big fan of any of the movies like this. I don't like the movies were parts of a persons life is lost or missed due to certain things. In this movies case it is because the main character has a genetic defect that causes him to time travel. This can cause him to be gone for weeks at a time. This makes it hard to have things of value or more importantly to have a relationship. It also creates a problem in the fact that when he travels he does not take anything with him, no clothes, nothing. Talk about awkward. I just have issues with watching a movie that you know will not have a happy ending. If that is your thing then you will like this. Part of it might be that I have a good sense of my mortality so a movie that brings this to the forefront just is not my thing. Maybe I just don't like using my time on a movie that does not leave me anything but sad. Overall I just didn't get into the movie. It is slow paced and with all the jumping around it kept destroying any pace it had.
