Whisper of the Heart is a coming of age film were the main character is getting ready to take her exams to enter High School. She would rather read books from the libary then study for this test. Besides she does not know what she wants to do after school anyways. With all the reading she does she starts to realize something. Some mysterious guy has checked out all the same books. Who is this mysterious man is the question the just needs answered. Like it said it is a coming of age movie were a girl finds her passion and sets out on to capture her dreams. This is also a story about the people in her life that respect her dreams and passions. Overall this is a pretty good animation. The real place this stands out is a really good story. A good story for all ages. Though at times it is more of a drama and really is not anything that has not done before or at least there are many live action versions of the same story. None the less it is still a good watch if you are into animated dramas.
