I will start by saying that I did enjoy this movie. Emilio Estevez did a good job with his role, maybe the best role he played other than his role in Mighty Ducks. All the actors had a good feel for their role. It did have a good mix of action and comedy that makes it worth watching. I don't think that this movie was as good as it could have been. It had an all star cast that have all continue to work making movies. Director Christopher Cain may be the one to blame for its lake of punch. He has made plenty of undistinguished movies over his career this one being no exception. I also feel the conflict between the Regulators is forced and never results in much. Overall it is worth the 102 minutes that you invest in the movie and is good enough to rent or buy.

Sorry everyone but this movie has some huge negatives for me right off the bat. I am not a big fan of westerns, I can’t stand Emilio Estevez, and I think I already watched this on the Discovery Channel. For me this movie would be worth renting (in a discount rental store mind you) or borrowing from a friend, and only if you are really bored. Let the hate mail rain down!
