Useless Movie Trivia For
Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me
Memorable Movie Quotes
Dr. Evil: The moon unit will be divided into two divisions: Moon Unit Alpha and Moon Unit Zappa.
Austin: No, I mean, literally, HOW could you do it? The man's so fat, the sheer mechanics of it are mind-boggling.
Dr. Evil: Well it's true! You're semi-evil. You're quasi-evil. You're the margarine of evil. You're the Diet Coke of evil. Just one calorie, not evil enough.
Austin: Are you kidding, baby? I put the "grrrr" in swinger, baby! Yeah!
Dr. Evil: Mini-me, you complete me.
Fat Bastard: [to Felicity] Of course I'm not happy. Look at me, I'm a big fat slob. I've got bigger titties than you do. I've got more chins than a Chinese phonebook. I've not seen my willie in two years, which is long enough to declare it legally dead.
Dr. Evil: Mini Me, stop humping the "laser". Honest to God! Why don't you and the giant "laser" get a fricken room for God's sakes?
Fat Bastard: [to Mini Me] I'm bigger than you and higher up the food chain. Get in my belly.
Austin: The 70s and the 80s? You're not missing anything, believe me. I've looked into it. There's a gas shortage and A Flock of Seagulls. That's about it.
Fat Bastard: [to Felicity Shagwell] Would you like to have another go? 'Cause once you've had fat, you never go back.
Dr. Evil: Mini Me? Mini Me? For God's sake would somone put a fricken bell on him or something.
Trivia
In the U.S., "shag" is far less offensive than in other English-speaking countries. Singapore briefly forced a title change to "The Spy Who Shioked Me" ("Shioked" means "treated nicely").
Although the word "shag" is less offensive in the U.S. than most other countries, not all translated the title into something less raunchy. The Norwegian title of the movie is "Spionen som spermet meg", which is a slightly dirtier way of saying "The spy who ejaculated on me".
Austin travels back in time to 25 May 1969. Mike Myers' birthday is 25 May.
Dr. Evil's Time machine computer is a scaled down version of the computer used in the TV series "The Time Tunnel".
The line "I'm even better off them [my feet]" was originally intended to be "on my back", but was deemed inappropriate.
In the scene where Dr. Evil bounces the globe off No. 2's head (in the past), his lines follow that of 'Robert Duvall' 's character in The Great Santini.

A true piece of nerd trivia - Dr. Evil's trademark gesture is an extended pinky finger held to the corner of his mouth. The name of the muscle which extends the pinky finger is the Extensor Digiti MINIMI.
When Austin and Felicity are driving through the English countryside, Austin remarks on how the English countryside looks nothing like southern California. The entire movie was, of course, filmed in southern California. This scene was a spur of the moment thing, not planned dialogue. This is evidenced by Felicity saying "What?" when Austin asks her the question.
Dr. Evil's Base in the moon is divided in two units: Moon Unit Alpha and Moon Unit Zappa, the latter being the name of Frank Zappa's daughter, Moon Unit Zappa.
In the Seattle headquarters, there is a picture of a shark with a frickin' laser beam on its head. Look for it at the shot of Number 2 by the condiments table with the Starbucks employee to the left side of the screen.

In the scene where Austin and Felicity leave planet earth for the moon, the shots showing the rocket lifting-off were taken from Apollo 13.
