While the film was originally intended to have a theatrical release, because of the big similarities with Scary Movie (2000) and the popularity of that previous film it was decided to release it direct-to-video.
Goofs
While Dawson and Martina are walking to their picnic table at lunch, Dawson is carrying a sandwich and Coke in his tray and Martina is carrying a pop can on her tray. Half a second later, we cut back to them and Dawson has a hamburger on his tray and Martina has what looks like a sake flask on hers.
